View Here : Flashing Tire Pressure Light
If your Tire Pressure Light is Flashing, Check Your Tires. On some vehicles, the TPMS module communicates this information to the driver using a TPMS warning light, while others may include a direct pressure reading in the instrument cluster or information display.
My tire pressure light is blinking and staying on. I just checked the pressure in all tires and they are all fine. This is the second time it has done this and I took it to the dealership and they "fixed" it but it is doing the same thing again.
If it is the sensor battery and not low tire pressure, the symbol will likely flash, either at first and then turn steady, or remain flashing, whereas a TPMS symbol that’s illuminated and only steady indicates low tire pressure (each vehicle manufacturer is slightly different in the way it flashes to indicate a TPMS component failure).
The tire pressure indicator light started blinking then went…. The light flashed for 60 seconds; according to the owner's manual, it will flash every ten minutes for 60 seconds; in the hour on my way home from teaching a class, it did not flash again. The light does not stay on; I believe the tire pressures are okay (will check in the morning)...
The light can behave in two ways: Blinking - This means the TPMS has malfunctioned. One or more sensors may have failed or lost communication with the ECU. Reasons for sensor failure may be a dead battery (in the unit), damage, or failure from natural wear and tear. Most sensors are rated to last 7 or 8 years.
Tire Pressure Light is on even though the tires don't need air. My tire pressure warning light has come on several times on my 2004 RAV4. I've had a mechanic reset it before and check the tire pressure. ... Normal pressure is @70 psi. The tpms is flashing @66 psi. But the other tires read 64psi and yet the 66psi is the one flashing.
